The I International Festival-Forum "Prospects for the development of gastronomic tourism in Russia"

8 - 13 july, 2014, Veliky Novgorod


The richprogramme of the festival-forum includes the conference "Further training and retraining of personnel for certain sectors of the tourist industry", round table discussions with participation of market professionals; master classes for chefs; seminar on Russian winemaking for professionals and guests; gala dinner for the participants of the festival-forum made up of the dishes and drinks from th regions of Russia.

The exhibition of Russian regions will open by the presentation of routes and programmes in the field of gastronomic tourism. Open cooking classes for children and grown-ups are scheduled, too, while in restaurants of Veliky Novgorod in the days of the festival one may taste dishes of Russia regional cuisines.

The event is organized under the auspices of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) with the assistance of Culinary Association of Russia, the World Association of culinary communities (WACS), the Union of Russian vine-growers and winemakers, MGIMO.
